I often get asked what my favorite movies are - I think people might expect valuable movie insight due to the fact I am living with a movie/music video director. These are my favorite all time movies for various reasons, they stood out after one viewing and each are so different!
Dear Wendy - after watching this movie I was just in love with it. It is a bit indie, a bit western and all out awesome. The soundtrack is provided by the Zombies which elevates it to a even higher level!
Fat Girl - This movie has subtle ways of making you emotionally attached, at least I felt that pull. Growing up I had beautiful swan like friends that made me feel so much lower than what I was due to looks. I can appreciate the subtle beauty of this movie. The ending is shocking, and comes out of left field, it drew me in even more!
Wrist Cutters - I know suicide is such a hard subject to move around but this movie takes it to another level. It is dark, it is light, it makes you think, it makes you laugh. It is one of those movies that you need to watch to understand every day life.
Biutiful - We went in just wanting to watch and support foreign film, not knowing what this was about. We left tear stained and touched. This movie is sad - I will not lie, it sticks with you for days.
What are your favorite movies?

Perler Beads
I have not picked up my case of Perler Beads since the holiday season. I challenged myself to come up with new patterns for for swapping over on Swap-Bot. I am also wrapping my mind around what I will create for a 8 - bit art show and concert my boyfriend is hosting this summer.
First up a dragonfly and little owls. I think the dragonfly looks like a cross between a bow and a dragonfly - maybe a dragonbow?
A closeup of one of the lil owls. I think these turned out cute! I am going to make more in different color combination!
These are out in the mail - hopefully not broken into pieces!

Bag Lady
I got two new bags last week that make me so happy! I have received many compliments on both so far! I figured if I bought a new bag I would be forced to clean out my old bag. It worked! Plus two weeks ago I cleaned my closet for a yard sale and got rid of about 8 purses, 4 pair of shoes and some other forgotten about stuff. I have been lusting after Lux De Ville's super rad bags for awhile. I just never got to get my hands on the perfect color combo until this beauty came into play. I love it! It holds a lot, has feet protectors at the bottom and matches all my leopard gear!
My boyfriend knows I am a sucker for pandas so he bought me this lil guy to organize my 'on the road' cosmetics. My last makeup pouch recently was compared to a Harry Potter contraption after it was dumped on the ground in search of something. I knew it was time to clean it out!
I will make a effort to clean my purse out every week! Yes I will!

English Muffin Pizzas
Spelt English muffins (Rudi's Bakery) and left overs from the week = a easy Sunday night dinner. I was feeling PMS-y so I added Organicville's ranch dressing to my pizza!

Easy BBQ Pan Fried Tofu
What you need:
1 block extra firm - high protein tofu - patted dry - cubed
1/2 cup or more of your fave BBQ sauce
1 tablespoon of canola oil for frying
Heat up your oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Place the tofu in the pan and fry for about 15 minutes - turning every so often so it will not burn. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add BBQ sauce and let simmer turning once for 10 minutes.
Serve it in a bun, serve it over rice, serve it with sweet potato fries like above! It is easy, fast and yummy!

DIY Pizza, Easy Dinner And New Vegan Food Products
I have been under the weather the last few weeks, I have had four shingles out breaks and my body just feels tired. I have been hitting up Greens Market a few times a week since it opened to get ideas and buy great food. Well, when I stopped in last week the staff informed me of all the new vegan products and I was ecstatic!
First up Eat Pastry's Chocolate Chunk Cookie Dough: Good stuff, not as great as a batch of my black ribbon chocolate chip cookies but really awesome tasting! It is so nice to have a tub of dough for those last minute snacks! I can't wait to get my hands on the other varieties! Also I will try to snap a picture next time I make some!
I have heard a lot of talk about Hodo Soy's Tofu lately. I picked some up wanting a quick meal and decided on a curry. I like the fact it is already really firm and pressed, you just need to run a cloth over it to get the moister off. They texture is also really chewy. I found a few varieties of vegan curry sauces at Cost Plus from the UK, it made things even easier! Now only if they got in some more vegan imported candy!
We were invited to a birthday party on Saturday night. The host was super awesome and provided us with our own pans and everything. We sampled salad pizza and got to take dough home and I made a Daiya cheeze pizza. It was my first time stretching pizza dough and it was fun. I want to try making my own dough and pizza again. Growing up we had homemade pizza from my grandma and like all great Sicilian dishes - I am intimidated to recreate them. I will get over this!

A Berry A Day...
I love berries, I have a weakness for strawberries, not necessarily eating them but finding strawberry accessories and toys! I love berry flavored drinks and candy that is super odd tasting some may say! Here is what I am loving right now!
I love Metromint water! At first I was skeptical of a berry mint flavor - however it is oddly refreshing. I know it is not for everyone but I love it's oddness. I buy a couple of bottles a week!
I am currently using Melvita's Strawberry toothpaste. I know it is for kid's but it is tasty, not to foamy and leaves my mouth tasting great!
This a cute tutorial on how to make a kawaii strawberry pillow!
If you are a candle junkie like me try PurBliss candles! They smell so good! Soy candles if you do not know by now burn longer and are so much better for the environment!
I love Lupicia's Strawberry Vanilla tea. I drink it strait up, in my opinion the matcha and strawberry goodness needs no help with soy milk or sweetener!
Do you have any favorite berry products right now? Please share!
